Overview

The Water Sensitive Cities Australia User Management Tool (WSCU) is the central point for giving access to the Water Sensitive Cities tools and products. It is a web application that allows WSCA to register and manage user accounts.

Tools and products that are available through the WSCU are:

- [Water Sensitive Cities Index](index.watersensitivecities.org.au)
- [Transitions Dynamics Framework](tdf.watersensitivecities.org.au)
- [Management Actions Tool](mat.watersensitivecities.org.au)

Currently not integrated into the WSCU is the WSC-Scenario tool.

The WSCU manages individual user access to tools and products through projects. Users can be organized into groups to simplify the process of granting access. This allows you to give access to a group of users at once, rather than having to do it individually. The system also supports different user roles, which allows you to customize the level of access a user has to a specific project. For example, you can give a user access to view the results of the WSC-Index tool for the City of Melbourne, but not allow them to edit it.

Access to tools is granted at the project level, meaning that a user can have access to the WSC-Index tool for one project, but not for another. Projects can also be assigned a location, such as a city or region. This allows you to grant access to a user for a specific location. For instance, you can give a user access to the WSC-Index tool for the City of Melbourne, but not for the City of Sydney.
